Seema Agarwal

Prof. Seema Agarwal is academic director and professor at university of Bayreuth in Germany. Her research interests are biopolymers, smart, functional polymers, and fibers with special morphologies. She has published more than 200 research articles in peer-reviewed journals. She is Alexander von Humboldt fellow and got Hermann-Schnell award of German Chemical Society for her research on biodegradable polymers. She is the chief-editor of e-Polymers.

Dr. Holger Schmalz is senior staff scientist (Akademischer Oberrat) at the University of Bayreuth. He is scientific manager of the keylab “Synthesis and Molecular Characterization” of the Bavarian Polymer Institute (BPI). His research focuses on the self-assembly of block copolymers in bulk and in solution with special interest in crystallization-driven self-assembly, as well as the characterization of mesostructured materials via Raman imaging. He has published more than 100 publications (H-index = 33) in peer-reviewed journals.
