In this interactive online seminar series, we take a closer look at the wicked problem of plastic pollution and microplastics. Our speakers are experts in plastic pollution and have diverse backgrounds in academia, policy making, civil society and beyond. They provide unique perspectives on the causes and impacts of the problem and discuss solutions.

About the speaker:
Stephanie Wright is a Research Fellow and Lecturer in Environmental Toxicology at the Imperial College London. Her research focuses on the potential for microplastic to impact human health with an emphasis on airborne microplastic. She holds a UKRI Rutherford Fellowship and leads the Microplastics team, which’s research interest is in a large part detection of particles. She has a view on plastic from a human health perspective.
